WebApp - "Daily Tasks List"

A simple "to-do" task list Web App built for cross platform desktops and iOS devices

How it works

The Web App files reside on my server, and any "tasks" created are stored in the user's local browser cache. However, all Web App files are also cached so no extra loading will occur from the server [unless I have updated a file].

NB: If the browser's cache is cleared then all "task" data is lost.

NB: Also, "task" data is device dependent - ie cannot be synced between devices or platforms.

No Internet Connection?

As the app's content is cached locally, if no internet connection, the web app will still work and function normally. This is handy if the mobile device is wi-fi only [eg iPod Touch]

iOS Devices "Add to Home Screen"

Run iPad, iPod, iPhone app as a normal fullscreen app

STEP 1: Tap the "arrow in box" icon [top url field on iPad or footer on iPod / iPhone].

STEP 2: Select "Add to Home Screen" from popup menu [This will place the web app icon onto the home screen.]

STEP 3: Tap on this new icon. This will re-launch the web app in fullscreen mode.

Desktop Web Browsers

The webApp run on a Desktop Browser can also:

Double-click to edit a task
Click, hold and drag to reorder your tasks

NB: These fuctions do not work on iOS devices
